Monica Sarkar-Mcgarry
Monica has over 20 years of experience in both the public and private sectors, including 8 years at early-stage startups, where she played a key role in scaling operations, building teams, establishing processes, and driving strategic goals. She has 15+ years of facilitation and training experience, 10 years in people leadership, and was most recently Head of People & Culture at a software startup acquired in 2023.
Monica is a Certified Trainer (Ken Blanchard Exchange), holds a Project Management Certificate (University of Toronto), is certified in Youth Development (Queen’s University), and earned a BA with Honours in Human Rights and Law (Carleton University).

Martin has over 23 years of business experience, including 10+ years specializing in recruitment and 15 years in leadership roles. He has served as Head of Talent for three start-ups/scale-ups, where he developed talent acquisition strategies, scaled teams, modernized processes, and established international centers of excellence in Europe and South America for organizations ranging from 35 to 1,000 employees.
Martin is also the founder of The People People Group, an international community of over 5,000 HR, Recruitment, and Operations professionals. The community features representation from both leading global brands and innovative startups, providing a valuable network of industry expertise.
